Goodwood Revival: Travelling Back in Retro Style

It’s almost time for this year’s Goodwood Revival and we’re looking forward to dressing up for the occasion. If you don’t know what to wear, a good place to start is the Goodwood Revival Style Guide. And ShopCurious is always a great place to shop for unique accessories (some of which can be seen in these photos).

Enthusiasts may disagree, but judging by most of the press coverage, you’d think the whole event was dedicated to vintage fashion – the cars simply make a rather stylish backdrop.

Some of the vehicles can come in quite handy, though. A curiously chic authentic Routemaster bus has been converted into the Rosebery, a ‘30s themed mobile restaurant, complete with bar, dining area and extendable roof for standing (and, more importantly, hat room). This makes the perfect pit-stop on the way to the Paddock, especially on a rainy day. Apparently it serves as a mobile private members’ club, or you can hire it for a cocktail party for up to 40 guests.
